English Angora Rabbit is one of the cutest rabbits, I would say. I found this rabbit in Manchester city center while out shopping. When I saw it sitting on a push chair being pushed by a small child. I thought it was an animal doll which looked similar to a rabbit but had short ears, then it sniffed! Oh my buddha it’s alive. I couldn’t take my eyes out of it. That small little thing was really adorable and its hair must be really soft and smooth like silk. Wish I could hold it for a while.

Here is some information about this cute rabbit from Wikipedia, the Angora rabbit is a variety of domestic rabbit bred for its long, soft hair. The Angora is one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, originating in Ankara, Turkey, along with the Angora cat and Angora goat. The rabbits were popular pets with French royalty in the mid 1700s, and spread to other parts of Europe by the end of the century. They first appeared in the United States in the early 1900s. They are bred largely for their long Angora wool, which may be removed by shearing, combing, or plucking (gently pulling loose wool).

rabbit in manchesterI was wondering what else could be strange pets in Manchester so I looked at some pet shops and found that there were varieties of animals for sale such as lizards, snakes, tarantulas and amphibians.

lizardThis is Leopard Gecko, originally live in deserts in Pakistan, Northern India and part of Iran. They are now common pet and cheap to maintain.

L'EndormiChameleon looks quite cute for me.? There are about 160 species of chameleon, like living in tropical. Some chameleon can change colors but I don’t know if this one can.

TarantulaThis hairy spider is Tarantula, found in tropical forrests and deserts around the world . They look dangerous but actually their bite won’t anyone. Most tarantulas eat insects but the biggest tarantula can kill birds or mice.

If I have time and space, I would like to have Otters as pets haha. Do you have any strange or weird pets? Would you like to share?
